Wandertween and wandergirl were psyched that we stumbled upon a Dance with the Rockettes Class at New York Public Library’s Stephen A. Schwarzman Building this week. Thank you, Mommy Poppins for listing the event on your calendar. In less than an hour, the dance class of kids between the ages of 7-12 had their kicks on. Astor Hall was filled with onlookers.
At the end of the session, the girls received purple goodie bags, which included an umbrella–perfect for stepping out into the post-dance afternoon drizzle.
In my book, learning to dance with the Rockettes definitely counts as the day’s homeschool P.E.!
Happy Wandering! Happy Homeschooling!
