Dreaming about the perfect French bangs or fringe? Wondering where to get French bangs in Paris? Dreaming about traveling all the way to Paris just to get amazing hair?
If there’s one thing that French women do better than anyone else in the world, it has to be the way they wear French Bangs!
French women totally rock bangs. Seriously, they do! It’s not just in Hollywood movies that you see Parisian women looking totally fab, sitting at a cafe and rocking hair fringe that looks au so natural.
It’s a real thing in Paris and elsewhere in France.

What are Bangs or Fringe?
Bangs, also sometimes referred to as fringe, are pieces of hair, strands, or locks that are cut shorter than the rest of the head of hair, and typically cover the forehead. Some bangs are cut longer or shorter, sometimes at eyebrow level, just above the eyebrows. There are different types of bangs, like side bangs or curtain bangs.
Where to Get French Bangs in Paris?
You can get French bangs almost anywhere in Paris. Stylists know how to cut bangs well in Paris.
Sure, you could always get a bad stylist or one that’s having a bad hair day, but chances are good that any stylist you see will know how to cut bangs in the city. If only because they are such a popular ask in the city.
Oh, if you can’t make it to Paris anytime soon or aren’t sure about committing to bangs, you can always try super cute, temporary clip in bangs.
To find a hairstylist, you can certainly Google stylists, read reviews, get recommendations on social media for the best hairstylist in Paris, and book an appointment in advance of your trip to Paris.
However, you can also wander the streets and if a salon captures your attention, you can ask if they have appointments or book online (not all hair salons in France have online booking systems – many French still prefer ‘ol fashioned telephone appointments). French salons each have a unique look, similar to the way French cafes have their own unique style and vibe. So, if you stumble upon a salon that feels like it’s calling for you to chop off your locks, it just might be the salon for you!
Haircuts Sans RDV
If you wander by salons in Paris, you might notice that some have window signs that read, “Sans RDV.” This means without appointment. It’s the equivalent of “walk-ins welcome.”
So, if you’re dying for French bangs while on vacation in Paris, you can also look for a salon that accepts walk-ins.
Oh, and don’t think you have to blow your holiday budget on awesome bangs or fringe. There are really affordable and decent haircut prices to be found in Paris. Good hair is important to most French women. So, you’re sure to find a salon that works for your budget.
